All our members of our Security and Office staff have been extensively vetted according to  BS 7499, BS 7960 and BS 7858 regulations and have been checked with the SIA, CRB and the Police. We also check their history and experience up to ten years back which results in having more trustworthy  professional and capable security officers with more experience in the Security Industry.

Within in the Security industry in the UK there a many levels of Security licences issued after various levels of  training, we at 3D Security mostly aim to employ staff who have trained and achieved an Door Supervision licence and the qualifications in Level 2 Conflict Management and the new physical intervention skills and training. So whats new at 3D security,well we launched a Keyholding & Alarm response  service at the beginning of the Year 2011 to run along side our Mobile patrol service, we purchased a huge safe (we had fun trying to get it positioned in the office) and a separate Key Safe installed into our 24 hr Control office, so if your looking for  key Holding  in Somerset, Devon, Dorset then please get in contact. we can cover other areas of the Uk  as we have a great network across the Country, it just depends on location and response times.

We interview around 20 people a week and we alarmed (pun Sorry) at the applicants that come through our door just because the job centre or some “back to work ” scheme have paid for a Sia course and badge this does not make you a Doorman or Security guard well it might be alright for other Security companies (some of these dont even meet their staff, just phone call, place of work, contact details ) but sorry it does not happen at 3D Security all our staff are hand picked for each job by the MD as they are the face of our company.

Our manned Guarding, Static Guarding, Security Guards is proving a great success due to the fact the guards we employ are all level 2 sia trained Door Supervisors trained in guarding duties, and have been extensively vetted according to BS 7499, BS 7960 and BS 7858 regulations and have been checked with the SIA, CRB and the Police. We also check our staff up to ten years back ourselves which results in having a more Trustworthy, Professional and Capable Security Officer with more experience in the Security Industry.

In June 2012 we are hopefully moving into a new larger office (still in Taunton) this will also have a interactive training room on site.

Mobile Security Patrols & Key Holding Services

3D Security also has a wide range of new company vehicles which are all fully signed and equipped with all necessary equipment to deliver the highest quality and service and provide our customers with a rapid response service. We can provide this rapid response and mobile patrol service because we dedicate individual company vans for small areas which makes sure that the service and response within that area is very high.
All 3D Security Mobile Patrols  use the Partner Patrol Management System. This system uses magnetic scan points which will be placed at strategic points on your site and which will be scanned with a patrol recorder, carried at all times by our guards. All relevant data, including times on site, dates and other relevant info will be stored on this recorder and at the end of every shift the data on this recorder will be scanned into our computerised system. Reports of these visits will be accumulated on a weekly basis and forwarded to you by email. This ensures and shows you exactly what time that our guards have been on site and have carried out their relevant patrols. This service comes as standard with our service.

We will also provide you with signs that will be placed around your site, informing people that you have security on site. This will be done free of charge.

We recommend to our customers at least 2 visits per night from our mobile patrol units, at random times, to prevent any criminals to be able to pinpoint when security is on site.

On average, most of our customers choose to have 3 visits per night, to make sure that everything on the premises is secured.

Key Holding and Alarm Response Service.

When your alarms go off outside business hours, being the first on scene can be both very inconvenient and potentially hazardous.

In the long-term, substantial amounts of time and money could be saved using a Key holding service. This can also include the routine opening and closing of your premises and acceptance of late deliveries during your ‘out of hour’s’ period.

3D Security Keyholding & Alarm Response

For key holding our company uses a Key Safe system which ensures that only the appropriate persons have access to our customer’s keys and most importantly, it ensures us that your keys are very well protected. This system is also backed up with a separate safe holding the relative information. Our control office is manned 24hrs, 365 days a year and is approved/ authorised by almost every insurance company
All our vehicles are signed and highly visible and each vehicle has a Smaller Key Safe system on board

This service has proved invaluable to our clients who use this service, alleviating the worry of late night callouts or dealing with unsavoury incidents

Our experience has shown that many alarm activations are due to a contact break in the alarm sensors caused by windows, doors and sometimes a trapped bird. At other times a break-in is in progress, requiring a trained Security Officer to approach and manage the situation in a professional and safe manner. Our staff work closely with the alarm companies and the police, and are conversant with the processes involved with alarm activations and procedures
Normally we act as Number One key holder between the hours of 1800hrs and 0900hrs on weekdays, with 24 hour cover on weekends and bank holidays

At 3D Security you are provided you with a guaranteed response to your alarm activation 24 hours a day 365 days a year by professional trained guards ready to deal with any situation. Upon alarm activation, the alarm monitoring company will by law contact the Number One key holder and not the Police. Within a timescale of 15 minutes at the latest, our Security Officers will arrive on site and conduct an internal and external check of your premises.

If the police have been called, either by the alarm monitoring company or us, our Security Officers will meet the police at the premises and allow entry into the building. If all is in order the premises and area of activation will be
checked and the alarm will be reset and activated. If there is a fault on the alarm, we will contact an engineer and await his arrival. On completion of all steps, the alarm will be activated again and the building secured.

We will also inform our client of action taken on the next working day, if no untoward incidents had taken place.

All 3D Security Door Supervisors are SIA level 2 licensed and trained in Level 2 Conflict Management and have the new Physical Intervention skills and training and have been vetted by our company extensively. They also comply with the BS 7960 regulation for Door  Supervisors and most of them are also First Aid trained.

I am very confident when I say that all 3D Security Door Supervisors are Very Polite, totally Professional and are well trained for their job and they will ensure the safety of your staff and your venues and at the same time provide an excellent welcome for your customers.

I do realise that you may already have a security company for your venue and I will certainly say nothing bad about them. What we are able to offer is a Strong, Dynamic and Experienced Door team that will more than meet your needs.

We also issue all our venues a 3D Security Due Diligence booklet for your Managers to inspect and for the local licensing Officers and Local Police  requirements with Signing in/out Sheets, Public liability Insurance Certificates, Incident report forms, Records of numbers in/out every hour with a venue total, ID checks, searches, toilet checks, Refusals at the door, Ejections, etc.

This is how we expect our Door Supervisors to work and to carry out their duties while working at your event or venue.

At 3D Security we believe that there is a lack of good service and quality in a lot of the Door Supervision Services available in this Country.

Please Note that there are several Security Companies around that pay their Door Supervisors ‘Cash in hand’ or with a “so called invoice” with no PAYE Contributions which means that any Public Liability insurance is invalid  so in the event of an ‘incident’ at your venue you could be Liable this could be very expensive, this will also apply if “Dave to Doorman” or “I got a mate with an SIA Badge” will be supervising your premises.

Example: Average Door supervisors wages £10hr + employers NI = £11.30  then holiday entitlement = £12.30 + hr. So if your security provider is charging  anywhere below £14- £15 hr then they are supplying you un insured security officers and you will find that your venue insurance does not cover the manned security for your establishment .  Ask your security provider for public liability insurance documents (you pay for this)
